We make this only at that special time of the year, Xmas. It was something my mum will make using dried fruit and mixed nuts and we will enjoy the fruit mince with cheese and smoked ham off the bone. I have converted this idea to a type of relish. It tastes great on its own, with cheese, on toast, mixed with yoghurt or can be used to make fruit minced tarts. Makes great stocking filler gifts for hampers.
